Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
BupaCognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist providing high intensity therapy sessions remotely for clients' mental wellbeing needs in the UK. Collaborating with clinical leads and following case management processes.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Providing high intensity CBT sessions on a 1-2-1 basis, you will treat clients referred from our insurance business who need support with their mental health and wellbeing.
- Working remotely, you will be a first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues and concerns.
- To provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low-level brief interventions which demonstrates excellent clinical outcomes.
- To deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention.
- To ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client.
- To provide different models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference.
- To adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team.
- To adhere to sessional limits depending on the client’s monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full Accreditation with British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
- Holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) which is BABCP accredited
- At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions, working with clients who have a range of presentations
- IT Skills including proficiency using Microsoft Systems as well as electronic medical record systems
- Diverse and varied clinical experience to draw upon
- Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops also preferred
- Right to work in the UK
