About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-quality therapeutic care, which demonstrates excellent clinical outcomes.
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention.
- Ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client.
- Provide different models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference.
- Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team.
- Adhere to sessional limits depending on the client’s monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals.
- Provide signposting or onwards referral as and when required.
- Provide ad-hoc or one-off wellbeing support and coaching as and when required.
- Provide one-off assessments and referral recommendations, when required.
- Work at a client level to provide group psychoeducation, raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing, promotion of mental wellbeing guidance via remote presentation, workshop events and training as and when required.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of Bupa’s service policies and procedures.
- Attend regular clinical supervision, via individual and group provision, and monthly team meetings to support clinical practice, in line with BUPA and the practitioner’s professional body guidelines.
- Work with the operational and clinical team to identify ways to improve client and employee experiences.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional doctorate qualification in Clinical/Counselling Psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Health and Care Professions Council registration as a qualified Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
- Extensive leadership experience managing clinicians within a Mental Health setting.
- Adult experience as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist is necessary.
- Additional Children’s Clinical Psychologist experience is desirable.
- At least 1 year’s post-qualification clinical experience.
