About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and deliver the clinical strategy across Clinics & Specialist Primary Care, working closely with service line directors
Ensure services are consistently rated ‘Good’ or above by the CQC and comply with Bupa clinical governance and risk standards
Act as the clinical voice on the Clinics Leadership Team, contributing to strategic and operational decision-making
Attract, develop and retain high-calibre clinical professionals across multiple specialties
Ensure robust clinical governance, performance management and management of clinical outliers
Work with Innovation and Product teams to develop new pathways and services that enhance patient outcomes
Oversee the collection and use of clinical outcomes, PROMs and PREMs to evidence quality and value
Support sales and marketing activity by articulating Bupa’s clinical excellence and expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need

GMC registration with specialist accreditation
Significant experience leading large, complex clinical teams in matrix environments
Strong commercial judgement, balancing clinical excellence with business performance
Deep understanding of clinical governance, risk management and regulatory frameworks (including CQC)
The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical disciplines
A track record of integrity, probity and patient-centered leadership
