About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts
  • Understand customer agreements and drive program commitments, including marketing activities, rebates, and training
  • Meet or exceed strategic initiatives and sales budgets for strategic and territory customers
  • Lead customer conversations using business-level insights to establish value, create demand, determine pain points, and address concerns
  • Drive, grow, and track the sales pipeline using Microsoft Dynamics through manufacturer representative groups, buying groups, and distribution representatives
  • Collaborate with key accounts on forecasting, fill-rate expectations, and inventory levels
  • Develop strong relationships across key account organizations
  • Present and promote value to key decision makers
  • Negotiate customer-specific and core product programs
  • Answer questions regarding products and applications
  • Present new product innovations to expand the product portfolio
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Drive pricing strategies within assigned accounts
  • Communicate and cooperate productively with all departments
  • Coach and develop talent to position the Kishigo brand and its value with sales agency partners and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, marketing, or professional selling preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years industrial sales experience with either a manufacturer or distributor
  • Business acumen around accounting, P&L, margins, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of safety products is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and focused on continuous improvement
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting with diverse employees, managers, and external contacts
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and executive-level oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience with a CRM; Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Up to 50% travel required in support of customer visits, strategic planning, training, and tradeshows
