About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the ongoing daily operations, sales, and high-volume stock management within your department
- Work closely with fellow leaders in various departments
- Deliver the best customer experience while ensuring the department is Full, Clean & Tidy
- Train and develop the team, providing Best Experience to customers
- Showcase our Widest Range and Lowest Prices
- Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment
- Perform duty manager responsibilities including opening and closing the store
- Coach and train team members on Best Service and Safety Standards
- Rostering and workforce planning for your team
- Manage daily stock flow, including seasonal campaigns, inventory & stock loss management, visual merchandising and safe replenishment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous retail leadership experience in a large retail environment, leading a department or similar
- A strong passion for customer service and merchandising standards
- Previous experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback
- Ability to be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours
- Open, honest, and respectful communication style
- Eagerness to learn about new products
