About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the ongoing daily operations, sales, and high-volume stock management within your department
Work closely with fellow leaders in various departments
Deliver the best customer experience while ensuring the department is Full, Clean & Tidy
Train and develop the team, providing Best Experience to customers
Showcase our Widest Range and Lowest Prices
Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment
Perform duty manager responsibilities including opening and closing the store
Coach and train team members on Best Service and Safety Standards
Rostering and workforce planning for your team
Manage daily stock flow, including seasonal campaigns, inventory & stock loss management, visual merchandising and safe replenishment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous retail leadership experience in a large retail environment, leading a department or similar
A strong passion for customer service and merchandising standards
Previous experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback
Ability to be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours
Open, honest, and respectful communication style
Eagerness to learn about new products
