About the role
- Overall responsibility for the organization’s operational performance in close cooperation with the Federal Managing Director and the Chief Coordination Officer.
- Ensuring the internal organizational capability of projects, programs and cross-functional tasks.
- Liaison to the volunteer Federal Executive Management with responsibility for operational control and implementation.
- Planning, structuring and implementing business cases within Bundesverbraucherhilfe.
- Establishing, managing and further developing an economically viable business operation while respecting the organization’s non-profit status.
- Maintaining, expanding and managing strategic partnerships with external stakeholders.
- Identifying, initiating and actively implementing improvement measures in processes, workflows and structures.
- Close coordination with the Executive Board, department heads and staff units to ensure efficient operational processes.
Requirements
- A completed degree in business administration, business law, management or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in operational leadership, organizational development or in building business models.
- Strong understanding of project management, process control and economic/financial relationships.
- Experience in establishing and managing cooperations and partnerships.
- High degree of initiative, ability to deliver results and a pragmatic hands-on mentality.
- Strategic thinking combined with operational depth.
- Willingness to work remotely and flexibly on a voluntary basis.
