About the role

  • Responsibility for the compliant operation of defined building services systems
  • Identification and implementation of a wide range of operator obligations with particular relevance to legal compliance
  • Organization of maintenance (inspection, servicing, testing) for systems with high technological complexity and significant interfaces to other trades
  • Coordination of incident/fault management with a primary focus on the core business, as well as management of external service providers
  • Ensuring and optimizing the operation of utility supply systems and legally compliant operational documentation
  • Leading cross-functional projects involving high technical complexity of systems
  • Independent implementation of the Bundesdruckerei Group’s environmental, energy and sustainability goals, and development and identification of new potential measures
  • Participation in internal and external management system audits and support for complex TGA (building services) projects

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years of practical experience in the operation and maintenance of building services systems, with expertise in refrigeration and HVAC/air‑conditioning technology
  • Knowledge of project management, planning/design of building services systems and building automation
  • Familiarity with the relevant regulations and standards (e.g. DIN, VDI, BetrSichV, etc.)
  • Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with SAP and a CAD program (e.g. AutoCAD, MS Visio)
  • Structured, independent and reliable working style, with a confident appearance, customer orientation, team spirit and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in on‑call duty is desirable
