About the role

  • Design, implementation, documentation, administration, operation, support, tracking and monitoring of complex IT processes with a high level of difficulty
  • Packaging and integration of software for deployments using Microsoft SCCM
  • Integration and configuration of Cisco routers/switches
  • Maintenance and support of the test infrastructure
  • Developing solutions to optimize and automate operational processes and systems
  • Supporting the planning of IT system deployments
  • Project or subproject leadership within the area of responsibility in coordination with other departments and units

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in computer science or an equivalent qualification, plus practical experience in system integration
  • Extensive experience with the technologies and methodologies relevant to the area of responsibility
  • Excellent knowledge of UNIX operating systems and familiarity with Microsoft back-office components
  • Knowledge of databases and/or Unified Communications is an advantage
  • Experience developing concepts to optimize data center operations
  • Strong written communication skills for presenting complex technical issues (e.g., operational manuals)
