About the role

  • Independently identify and develop new business opportunities for Bundesdruckerei (e.g., in Digital Financial Services, CBDC, Payments, governmental payment processing)
  • Independently analyze customer needs, market and technology trends in the areas listed above, as well as the regulatory environment
  • Develop solution concepts in close collaboration with our customers, partners and Bundesdruckerei’s interdisciplinary teams
  • Initiate and support the implementation of digitization projects with high visibility and societal relevance
  • Build and maintain an expert, consultant and partner network on payments, CBDC, DLT/Blockchain, e‑money, digital assets, and fraud/AML

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Financial Services (including experience from consulting)
  • Deep expertise in Financial Services / CBDC — preferably with a focus on digital currencies, payments and AML/fraud prevention
  • Existing network and experience in partnership/cooperation management within Financial Services
  • Strong analytical approach and enjoyment of conceptual and independent work
  • Experience leading (cross-functional) project teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a confident, persuasive presence with clients
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
  • Business-fluent (negotiation-level) English
