About the role
- Design, implementation, documentation, administration, operation, support, tracking and monitoring of complex IT processes with a high degree of difficulty
- Packaging and integration of software for deployments using Microsoft SCCM
- Integration and configuration of Cisco routers/switches
- Maintenance and support of the test infrastructure
- Developing solutions to optimize and automate operational processes and systems
- Providing input for planning the deployment of IT systems
- Project or subproject leadership within the area of responsibility in coordination with other departments and business units
Requirements
- Degree or completed vocational training in computer science or a comparable qualification, plus practical experience in system integration
- Extensive experience with the technologies and methods relevant to the area of responsibility
- Very good knowledge of UNIX operating systems and familiarity with Microsoft back-office components
- Knowledge of databases and/or unified communications is an advantage
- Experience developing concepts to optimize data center operations
- Strong written communication skills for presenting complex technical topics (e.g., operations manuals)
