- Bumble Inc. is looking for an experienced, motivated, and resourceful Advertising Partnerships Manager to drive revenue across our portfolio of apps. As one of the first members of our Ads team — sitting within the Product & Business Operations organization — you’ll help shape the future of Bumble’s advertising strategy.
- This is a sales role first and foremost, focused on building high-value advertising partnerships with brands and agencies, driving direct revenue, and managing campaigns from pitch to execution. You’ll also play a key role in growing our business by bringing back marketplace feedback to inform go-to-market plans and influence our ad product roadmap.
- The ideal candidate has a proven track record in selling strategic digital advertising solutions, alongside strong account management and project management skills. You’re just as comfortable securing RFPs and crafting proposals as you are managing day-to-day client relationships and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3–5+ years of experience in digital media sales or account management.
- Strong understanding of the media and creative agency landscape.
- Experience working in fast-growing companies and navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Passion for Bumble’s vision, mission, and values.
- Proven track record of success in advertising sales, with consistent revenue growth achievements.
- Demonstrated ability to build, grow, and manage relationships with clients, agencies, partners, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience at a relevant ad tech platform or within an emerging advertising solution environment.
- Deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including mobile apps, digital marketing best practices, and experience across both direct-sold and programmatic channels.
- Background in selling newly developed or emerging advertising solutions, ideally within a first-to-market or rapidly evolving ad platform.
- Strong track record of building and maintaining high-value relationships with both brand and agency partners.
- Familiarity with campaign lifecycle management, from proposal and asset collection to execution, reporting, and optimization.
- Proven sales acumen with the ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close revenue-driving partnerships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with global teams across product, marketing, operations, finance, legal, and engineering.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Highly adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Solutions-oriented, with a knack for creating innovative approaches within set resources.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
