About the role
- Design and implement scalable, developer-friendly security solutions.
- Collaborate to build AI- and MCP-powered tooling.
- Lead secure coding workshops and hands-on labs.
- Build and grow Bumble’s Security Champions program.
- Create internal toolkits and guidance for secure decision-making.
- Partner with teams to improve secure development workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Application or Product Security.
- Deep understanding of SDLC security practices.
- Hands-on experience with security tools.
- Strong familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
- Proven ability to translate complex security principles.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated success in balancing engineering velocity with security best practices.
- Some coding experience and a strong build-vs-buy mindset.
