Regional Sales Manager – East/Northeast
Built BrandsRegional Sales Manager for Built Brands focusing on growing business with Northeast and Midwest grocers. Managing key customer relationships and driving distribution across grocery channels.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Focus on growing our business and taking ownership with Northeast and Midwest regional Grocers and distributors
- Actively manage and grow our business at our direct accounts through regular merchant interaction, solid promotion and business planning
- Lead and manage your broker network for maximum performance in distribution gains
- Collaborate with in-house insights team to create compelling, fact-based sales presentations
- Collaborate with Dir-Marketplaces to ensure customers’ owned marketplaces are optimized and growing
- Develop joint business plans that include merchandising and shopper plans
- Leverage analytical tools to perform robust account analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of selling experience in CPG, preferably food, including both direct and brokered selling
- Proven track record of growing distribution and dollar sales at 30%+ while managing trade spend
- Experience selling to Northeast and/or midwest Grocer accounts required, preference for those with experience in Natural as well
- At least 3 years of experience managing brokers with examples of improving their effectiveness
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including PPT
- Solid skills in Nielsen, IRI, SPINS or other similar syndicated data
- Experience with panel data such as Numerator is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required
