About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of high-value prospects and define the best path to close each opportunity.
- Lead tailored product demonstrations that connect Buildertrend’s solutions to real business outcomes.
- Partner with sales leadership to align on strategy, messaging, and priorities.
- Build and execute short- and long-term plans to meet activity and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with teammates to uncover opportunities and strengthen overall sales efforts.
- Work with sales management to refine target lists and outreach strategies.
- Embrace using AI as a tool to enhance your work, while remaining open to learning, applying critical thinking, and owning the quality of your final work.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of successful software sales demonstrated, preferably with companies generating over $5 million in revenue
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings, site visits, and annual conferences
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and guide conversations
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies across complex deals
- Ability to learn systems, processes, and apply them effectively
- Resilience, curiosity, and a drive to improve with each interaction
