About the role

  • Drive 30% of your pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, becoming a master of identifying and engaging home improvement contractors ($1-$10M in revenue, 3-25+ employees).
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial qualification and discovery to demo, validation, proposal, and close, typically within a 30-day period, requiring multiple touchpoints. Conduct sophisticated product demonstrations (5-10+ per week) showcasing the technical capabilities and business impact of our comprehensive platform, while articulating technical concepts and integrations to business stakeholders.
  • Become a consultative expert, guiding prospects to understand the value of Builder Prime in solving their specific business challenges, even when competing against established solutions with more features. Focus on customer outcomes, not just product points.
  • Act as a true customer champion, ensuring a seamless transition from sale to successful onboarding. Collaborate closely with our Customer Success team, participating in a crucial 1-month post-sale check-in to drive referrals and identify continued value.
  • Thrive in a 'bring your own batteries' environment, taking initiative, moving with speed, and continuously seeking opportunities for personal and team growth. We embrace a 'fail fast, learn faster' mentality.
  • Collaborate actively with the sales team and cross-functional departments, sharing insights, participating constructively in meetings, and contributing to a 'we-first' winning culture.
  • Maintain meticulous records in HubSpot, ensuring accurate pipeline forecasting and clear next steps for every opportunity.
  • Continuously learn about our evolving product, market trends, and competitive landscape to maintain your expert status.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into the SMB and Mid markets.
  • Experience selling comprehensive business management platforms or ERP-style solutions to operation-heavy brick-and-mortar businesses.
  • Proven ability to articulate and sell value against larger, more feature-rich competitors.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC framework.
  • A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with demonstrable experience generating outbound pipeline.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A process-oriented approach to sales, with a clear understanding of how to drive deals forward and manage a clean pipeline.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot (or similar CRM), AI note-taking tools, Gong, and Seamless (or similar sales intelligence tools).
  • High learning agility, resourcefulness, and a genuine curiosity about solving customer problems.
  • A collaborative spirit and a strong desire to contribute positively to a team environment.
  • Experience selling a SaaS solution (ideally an all-in-one business management tool) to SMBs (e.g., home improvement contractors) is a significant plus.
