About the role
- Your core responsibilities: SaaS Finance Engine: You manage our subscription management tool (Chargebee) and ensure recurring revenue is recorded correctly.
- Financial Reporting: You prepare the monthly reporting for our shareholders and compile the relevant KPIs (MRR, Churn, CAC).
- Planning & Budgeting: Together with the CEO you prepare the annual budget and monitor compliance (plan vs. actual comparisons & ongoing monitoring).
- Accounting Interface: You oversee ongoing bookkeeping and act as the bridge to the tax advisor.
- Cost & Cash Control: You are responsible for the cost side, optimize our expenditures and maintain an efficient dunning/collections process.
Requirements
- SaaS DNA: You have experience in a software company or start-up/scale-up and understand how a subscription model works.
- Tool Stack: You are confident using modern finance tools (Chargebee, Google Sheets).
- AI-savvy: You stay up to date with the latest developments and experiment with new tools.
- Hands-on Mentality: You enjoy not only analyzing processes but also implementing them operationally.
- Clarity: You can prepare complex numbers in a clear and understandable way for management.
