About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversight of and management of assigned supervisees (minimum of 12 supervisees)
  • Providing administrative and clinical supervision on a weekly basis to direct supervisees (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC) pertaining to service delivery, documentation submission etc.
  • Maintaining documentation of provided supervision sessions
  • Administrative auditing of client charts for compliance with COMAR regulation, agency policy and procedures & insurance standards
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations, needed corrective action, and related activities
  • Conducting quality note review for direct supervisees monthly
  • Completion of administrative clinic discharges for assigned supervisees
  • Overseeing intake meetings, assignment of clients, and clinical case meetings
  • Interfacing with referral sources in the community and develop funding sources
  • Maintaining working knowledge of mental health treatment models and DSM 5 diagnostic criteria
  • Working independently, yet collaboratively as a team player across department lines within BTST Services, LLC
  • Conducting monthly group supervision
  • Reconciling clinician activity reports
  • Case reassignments for caseload of terminated/resigned supervisees includes audit of charts as well timely reassignment of cases
  • Oversight of interns during internships and practicums
  • Conduct the interview and hiring process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related field
  • Maintain professional license in the state of MD to provide therapy services
  • Licensed Certified supervisor by the Board of Maryland Social Work Examiners (LCPC or LCSW-C)
  • At least five years of administrative and/or clinical experience
  • Required experience working in a behavioral health setting providing services to clients with emotional and behavior disabilities
  • Knowledge of CARF standards and COMAR regulations preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License and clear driving record
