About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- - **Market Research:** Conduct competitive analysis and user research to identify trends in the fintech landscape and gaps in our current product offerings.
- - **Feature Discovery:** Assist in drafting product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria for upcoming features.
- - **Data Analysis:** Dive into product usage data (using tools like SQL, Mixpanel, or Amplitude) to uncover user behavior patterns and suggest actionable product improvements.
- - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, acting as a bridge between the engineering and design teams.
- - **Quality Assurance:** Perform hands-on product testing to ensure a seamless user experience across our platforms before any public release.
Requirements
What you’ll need- - **Current Student/Recent Graduate:** Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
- - **Analytical Mindset:** You are comfortable working with data and can translate complex information into clear, logical insights.
- - **Fintech Enthusiast:** You have a genuine interest in finance, digital payments, personal finance management, or banking technology.
- - **Strong Communicator:** You can clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and advocate for the user's perspective.
- - **Problem Solver:** You enjoy tackling ambiguous problems and are comfortable navigating a fast-changing environment.
- Nice to have
- - Experience with tools such as **Jira, Confluence, Figma, or Notion**.
- - Knowledge of basic **SQL** or experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker).
- - Understanding of financial regulations (KYC/AML) or payment processing flows.
- - Previous experience or passion projects involving product development, design, or coding.
