About the role
- Transform business opportunities into actionable analytical products that drive strategic decisions.
- Design innovative analytical solutions and develop robust algorithms to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of ML/LLM products from scoping to production rollout.
- Oversee the delivery of production analytical solutions throughout various stages of the development lifecycle, adhering to industry best practices.
- Ability to lead small DS/ML teams in collaboration with BT Group and drive end-to-end delivery.
- Experience collaborating with Data Engineering teams and building scalable pipelines in selected cloud environment.
- Create and maintain experimental notebooks, production pipelines, and dashboards tailored to project needs and assigned tasks.
- Define and document solution requirements in compliance with internal governance standards.
- Drive the DS roadmap, experimentation culture, and standards for model development, documentation, reproducibility, and code quality.
Requirements
- Experience in a Data Science role with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions in a business context with Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent skills gained through industry experience.
- Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and the development and deployment of end-to-end ML pipelines & Gen AI models.
- Experience building & deploying ML models in production using tools like Airflow, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Databricks or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with any major cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) including ML/AI services or hybrid environments. GCP is a good advantage.
- Hands-on experience with LLM fine‑tuning, RAG systems, multi‑agent workflows.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vector DBs (Pinecone, etc.).
- Exposure to basic frontend frameworks (e.g., Next.js) is a bonus but not required.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into measurable analytical frameworks with Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
