About the role
- Manage project delivery across scope, cost, timescales and quality, proactively identifying and implementing changes to ensure successful outcomes
- Monitor and manage project risks, ensuring compliance with contract terms and escalating issues where appropriate
- Deliver analysis and consultancy to identify opportunities for simplification, efficiency and business process improvement
- Define and track KPIs for assigned workstreams, measuring performance against agreed metrics
- Ensure full stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle and verify outputs meet required standards
- Apply robust governance practices and adhere to defined methodologies, tools and reporting standards
- Use operational and technical expertise to deliver solutions that meet stakeholder needs and provide a high-quality experience
- Facilitate clear decision-making by establishing accountability structures (e.g. RAPID) and communicating impacts
- Manage delivery budgets for workstreams and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and collaborate with a matrix team of internal colleagues and external partners
- Ensure formal project closure, capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in programme or project management roles
- Proven track record of delivering complex change programmes across various sectors
- Professional project management certifications desirable (PRINCE2, MSP, APM RPP, Scrum Master, SAFe)
- Demonstrated ability to manage significant project risk and deliver transformational and business change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to build trusted relationships up to Director level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to and leading large audiences
- Ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations and manage conflicting priorities
- Committed to continuous learning and improvement
- Experience with governance, reporting, risk management, KPI definition and tracking
