About the role
- Lead architect on high-value, complex projects across multiple countries.
- Translate business needs into end-to-end solutions combining technology, services, and people.
- Design innovative, repeatable solution architectures that meet customer needs and deliver measurable results.
- Lead technical and business discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders.
- Mentor and support teammates to raise the solutions architecture team's capability.
- Provide expert advice on emerging technologies and influence BT’s long-term strategy.
- Produce technical proposals, scope of work documents, and identify potential risks or gaps.
- Act as a trusted technical authority on solution governance and design.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in at least one of these areas: Network Solutions: DC Technologies, LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDWAN, Meraki; Voice & Collaboration Solutions: Webex Calling, Webex CC, Zoom, OCM, Genesys Cloud CC, Avaya CC, Contact Center Applications.
- Ability to design solutions that fit within enterprise architecture, ensuring integration and scalability.
- Experience leading bids, writing proposals, and presenting solutions to customers.
- Problem-solving mindset—able to spot risks early and propose effective solutions.
- Clear communication skills—able to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
