About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take end-to-end ownership of product-facing models, from problem definition and experimentation through to a deployed solution.
Develop the AI&ML capabilities spanning personalisation, recommendations, LLM-powered and generative features, embeddings, and forecasting.
See your work through to production, partnering with Engineering on deployment, latency, cost, and monitoring.
Establish a clear definition of success for each initiative and demonstrate product impact through metrics.
Contribute to the technical direction of applied AI&ML and help shape team standards.
Support the development of fellow scientists and engineers, leading by example.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Around 4+ years of experience building and shipping machine learning in production
Genuine depth in modern machine learning, recommendation and personalization systems, embeddings, and forecasting
Fluent in Python and have worked hands-on on ML solutions
Track record of developing solutions from an open problem to a validated solution running in production
Experience embedding machine learning into a live SaaS or consumer product would be a strong plus
Familiarity with the broader production path, including deployment, inference optimization, and model monitoring, is welcome.
