About the role
- Conduct product certification assessments across varied environments
- Ensure compliance with BSI’s rigorous certification schemes and Kitemark standards
- Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients
- Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates
- Maintain account responsibility and ensure effective partnerships
- Lead assessment teams and ensure quality service delivery
- Coach colleagues and assist with induction of new team members
- Plan and schedule workloads to maximize revenue-earning activity
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years’ industry experience in a product manufacturing environment
- Emphasis on quality management or product certification
- Ideally qualified in engineering or a related manufacturing subject
- Previous experience in product assessment or auditing against standards
- Knowledge of quality management system auditing practices (ISO 9001)
- Lead Auditor 9001 qualification would be a major advantage
- Must be able to travel frequently across the UK and occasionally within Europe
