About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the community with professionalism and positivity
  • Leads and manages operations in compliance with Affordable Housing Regulations and meeting requirements to include preparing documentation and reporting
  • Maintains and processes Move In and Recertification files as required to maintain program compliance with program funding
  • Recruiting, coaching, and developing a high-performing onsite team
  • Managing budgets, rent collections, financial reporting, and expense control
  • Overseeing leasing efforts, occupancy goals, renewals, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinating maintenance operations to ensure quality service and excellent curb appeal
  • Resolving resident concerns with empathy, professionalism, and timely follow-up
  • Building positive relationships with residents, vendors, and business partners
  • Partnering with the Asset Director by providing operational updates and supporting owner/client communications
  • Promoting safety, regulatory compliance, and a positive community culture
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two (2) or more years of multifamily property management experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • 2 years of Affordable experience wanted
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
