About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate a learning environment that supports the college mission and visions statements
- Provide approximately 12-14 hours per week of instruction over the course of five days each week, per course
- Prepare course(s) assigned in Blackboard with required elements by the designated deadline
- Facilitate discussion, grading student work, checking email, engaging in personalized retention efforts and outreach to support student success
- Respond to outreach (email, text, calls, etc.) from students, supervisors, colleagues, etc. within 48-hours
- Maintain contemporary knowledge and skills in their discipline to support expected classroom responsibilities.
- Review student work, adhere to grading rubrics, and provide detailed feedback.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management or Leadership, or business with 12 graduate hours in human resource coursework
- Human Resource certifications strongly considered
- At least one year experience working in a human resource role or a position that exhibits human resource functions
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Experience working in a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Blackboard.
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications.
