About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the college mission by facilitating an active virtual learning classroom through alternative delivery methodologies
  • Prepare course(s) assigned in Blackboard with required elements by designated deadline
  • Provide approximately 12-15 hours per week of instruction over the course of five days each week
  • Facilitate discussion ensuring a minimum of posting replies at least three days in each week’s discussion
  • Host one Virtual Office Hour per week for every assigned course section
  • Ensure gradebook is updated each week
  • Maintain a current knowledge of teaching disciplines/fields of study and best practices in distance education through professional development opportunities.

Requirements
