About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare course(s) assigned in Blackboard with required elements by the designated deadline.
- Facilitate discussion, grading student work, checking email, engaging in personalized retention efforts and outreach to support student success, and answering student inquiries.
- Respond to all outreach (email, text, calls, etc.) from students, supervisors, colleagues, etc. within 48-hours.
- Facilitate discussion with substantive, high-quality posts, higher-order questioning, and supplemental resources, ensuring minimum participation in discussion of at least three days each week.
- Ensure the grade book is updated each week no later than Thursday at 11:59 pm, ET for Weeks 1-6 and 9 am ET Thursday after the last day of class for Weeks 7 and 7.5.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A master’s degree in Accounting
- A master’s degree in field (e.g. MBA, MS Management) with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- A master’s degree (any field) with a valid CPA license
- At least one-year experience working in an accounting role or a position that does accounting functions
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Experience working in a Learning Management System (LMS)
