About the role

  • Execute monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and payment platforms (Wise, Stripe, PayPal).
  • Maintain accuracy in accounting systems and drive the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and documentation for external audits and tax compliance.
  • Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor payments and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and data integrity.
  • Identify process gaps and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect financial data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is highly regarded.
  • 3–5 years in accounting or finance operations, specifically supporting international companies or multi-country operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, INDEX-MATCH, and complex data modeling).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for coordinating with global stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote, task-based environment.
