Systems Engineer

• Work with Systems Architect and Systems Administrator positions to deliver projects and manage the overall infrastructure as a unified team
• Support enterprise applications, middleware, and cross-platform services
• Configure, deploy, and maintain the enterprise network across data centers, branch offices, and corporate locations
• Ensure maximum system uptime and performance through proactive monitoring, diagnostics, and incident resolution
• Configure and manage servers, firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi infrastructure
• As part of the IT security team, implement and maintain system security measures, ensuring compliance with CMMC level 2 requirements
• Perform core tasks relating to outage recovery, upgrades, and network modifications
• Develop a working, holistic understanding of BRPH’s network and systems infrastructure, which will inform change request and configuration decisions
• Engage with service providers and vendors to stay current with emerging solutions, manage support cases, and track key deliverables
• Identify and escalate out-of-scope requests requiring change orders
• Prepare and execute change requests with full testing and rollback procedures
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, according to BRPH standards
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff
• Lead project teams, including assigning tasks and coordinating onsite resources
• Support compliance and audit activities related to network infrastructure and data protection standards
• Track and report on individual and project KPIs such as budget adherence and documentation quality
• Participate in weekly team huddles prepared with status updates and metrics.

• Under minimal supervision, interacts with all levels of the organization for purposes of sourcing and recruiting team members.
• The primary functions of this role include candidate sourcing, and screening to ensure the timely hiring for open positions with quality candidates.
• Source for passive and active candidates and develop a strategy for filling open requisitions in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Review and evaluate resumes to select appropriate slate of candidates for personal interviews, and present qualified candidates to the hiring manager.
• Responsible for sourcing candidates through cold calling, networking, career fairs, internet postings, on campus recruiting, employee referrals, and minority and other outreach programs.
• Responsible for job advertisements in compliance with Federal and State guidelines and company policy.
• Acts as liaison to employment agencies and advertising media.
• Develop key relationships with the leadership team to expedite all talent acquisition needs, including universities, agencies, user groups, veteran, and minority associations.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to applicants and hiring managers regarding strengths and development needs of candidates.
• Assist in determining appropriate compensation using corporate guidelines and presents recommendations to managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to travel when needed.
