About the role

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within targeted markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the firm’s client portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, engineering firms, and project owners.
  • Present the company’s services and value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Prepare proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to increase visibility.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with project managers and marketing to coordinate outreach and support proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 3+ years of business development/sales experience in the construction, safety, or related industry
  • Proven success in generating leads, managing client relationships, and closing deals
  • Strong network of contacts within the construction and industrial sectors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to outreach and relationship-building
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
