About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supports a broad system-wide portfolio including Surgery, Cardiovascular, Anesthesia, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers across Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Functions as a strategic and operational partner to the SVP, VP, and operational leaders supporting both day to day performance and long-term planning
Advances operational and financial performance through hands-on business planning and detailed financial analysis
Identifies opportunities, solves complex problems, and drives measurable results
Partners closely with directors to manage budgets and monitor performance
Develops a working understanding of clinical workflows and financial performance opportunities
Conducts detailed analyses that inform operational strategy and growth planning
Collaborates with the budget office to review and respond to monthly variance reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
Masters preferred in relevant field, equivalent experience will be considered
Deep analytical experience in healthcare operations with particular knowledge of ambulatory and/or clinical service lines
Strong analytical expertise with demonstrated ability to link financial performance to clinical and operational drivers
Minimum of 5 years of progressively complex experience in healthcare operations
Experience in finance management or business administration required
Demonstrated skill in program development, business management, and analysis
