About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports a broad system-wide portfolio including Surgery, Cardiovascular, Anesthesia, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers across Massachusetts and Rhode Island
  • Functions as a strategic and operational partner to the SVP, VP, and operational leaders supporting both day to day performance and long-term planning
  • Advances operational and financial performance through hands-on business planning and detailed financial analysis
  • Identifies opportunities, solves complex problems, and drives measurable results
  • Partners closely with directors to manage budgets and monitor performance
  • Develops a working understanding of clinical workflows and financial performance opportunities
  • Conducts detailed analyses that inform operational strategy and growth planning
  • Collaborates with the budget office to review and respond to monthly variance reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Masters preferred in relevant field, equivalent experience will be considered
  • Deep analytical experience in healthcare operations with particular knowledge of ambulatory and/or clinical service lines
  • Strong analytical expertise with demonstrated ability to link financial performance to clinical and operational drivers
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively complex experience in healthcare operations
  • Experience in finance management or business administration required
  • Demonstrated skill in program development, business management, and analysis
