About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases for web, desktop, and UI applications
Perform manual functional, regression, and smoke testing
Build automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium and C# in Visual Studio
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing in Azure DevOps
Conduct API testing and validate integrations across multiple systems
Perform performance and load testing using JMeter
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards
Analyze requirements and provide clear, actionable feedback
Maintain and optimize automation suites for scalability and reliability
Work with Oracle and SQL databases for data validation and backend testing
Document test results and defects, and provide detailed reports in Azure DevOps
Work closely with the QA Lead to align with overall QA strategy and objectives
Foster a positive team environment and collaborate effectively

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the insurance domain and related workflows
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Expert-level experience with Selenium WebDriver and C#
Experience using Visual Studio for automation development
Experience with Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD
Experience with REST/SOAP API testing
Performance testing experience with JMeter
Proficiency in Oracle and SQL for database testing
Ability to create automation frameworks from scratch
Experience with functional, regression, and smoke testing
Familiarity with desktop and web application testing
Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, and reporting
Respectful and collaborative team attitude
Minimum 7+ years of QA experience, including at least 3 years in automation
Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments
Exposure to DevOps practices and continuous testing strategies preferred
