About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and process all policy changes as requested by agents and insureds.
- Assist Underwriters with renewal processing and follow up requests to the agents.
- Assist Underwriters with inspection review including follow-up with agents on hazards identified in the inspection.
- Monitor policies for recommendation compliance.
- Communicate with agents and insureds to assist with basic policy questions.
- Liaison between various departments.
- Participate in various projects as they arise.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years as an assistant underwriter. (preferred)
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Passion for learning new technologies and enhancing existing skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively.
- Ability to adapt and respond in a rapidly evolving business environment.
