About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads and oversees the servicing of financial consulting needs for employee benefit clients
  • Utilizes industry knowledge and expertise to retain clients by providing financial, industry trends, and strategic insights guiding clients through impactful benefit changes
  • Independently evaluates financial and utilization metrics for clients including but not limited to monthly financial reports, utilization metrics and benchmarks
  • Assist in negotiating renewal proposals and preparing and recommending plan changes and/or alternative funding recommendations
  • Develop reporting requirements and customizations in those reports
  • Support Benefit Consultants in preparing requests for meetings including coverages & contracts
  • Participate in prospective client finalist presentations to represent the Brown & Brown financial strategy
  • Performing demographic analysis, claims reviews, and other projects on prospective clients
  • Involvement in presentations at client functions and meetings.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability from industry experience
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
  • Strong knowledge of and relationship with vendors
  • Microsoft Excel – Strong to expert level skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of and relationships with vendors
