About the role
- Lead AI strategy and maintain an AI adoption roadmap aligned with company objectives
- Identify high-value AI use cases for insurance consulting and brokerage operations
- Research, vet AI tools and vendors, ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
- Establish AI governance frameworks for ethical and responsible AI use
- Collaborate with business units to design AI-driven solutions for client servicing, underwriting, and compliance
- Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot programs to validate AI initiatives
- Partner with IT and operations to integrate AI tools into workflows and oversee data readiness and quality
- Develop AI literacy programs and act as an internal evangelist for AI adoption
- Ensure AI solutions comply with insurance regulations and data security standards and monitor AI-related risks
- Track AI performance and ROI and recommend optimizations and upgrades
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 3–7 years’ experience in AI strategy, digital transformation, or technology adoption
- Familiarity with insurance industry processes (underwriting, claims, policy management)
- Strong understanding of AI tools, machine learning concepts, and data governance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Preferred: Experience with AI integration in regulated industries
- Preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce and similar CRM’s
- Preferred: Certifications in AI/ML, data analytics, or change management
