About the role
- Build a network of professional relationships, identify new leads, and qualify opportunities
- Establish, cultivate, and manage customer relations with clients and carrier partners
- Conduct risk management surveys and determine insurance coverage needs
- Develop stewardship reporting and advise clients on insurance coverage options
- Secure and prepare documentation for new business and renewal proposals and negotiate quotes
- Present and sell new business and renewal proposals, including educational materials for value-add services
- Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures (e.g., Insurance Coverage Review form)
- Actively participate in social, civic, trade organizations and industry associations to promote the Profit Center’s image
- Promote teamwork, support knowledge sharing, and maintain a positive attitude
- Participate in training to remain current on industry information, products, legislation, coverages, technology, and licensing
- Attend and actively participate in internal and external meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Obtain 215 license within 90 days (within three months) of employment
- 2-year College degree
- Microsoft Office- intermediate experience
- Must be able to multi-task
- Detail Oriented
- Teammate (collaborative attitude)
