About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and maintain the Brown & Brown Dealer Services data strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
Lead the Data & Analytics initiative, establishing best practices, standards, and reusable frameworks.
Partner with senior executives to identify high-value data opportunities and prioritize strategic investments.
Oversee governance of data pipelines, ensuring quality, lineage, and compliance across the Brown & Brown Dealer Services ecosystem.
Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to design scalable data models and modern data platforms.
Establish Brown & Brown Dealer Services data definitions, KPIs, and metadata standards.
Drive the design and deployment of dashboards, reporting suites, and self-service analytics capabilities across Brown & Brown Dealer Services.
Ensure BI solutions are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with business needs.
Promote consistent analytics methodologies across teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, data governance, or related fields
Demonstrated leadership of a Data & Analytics team or similar function
Strong technical foundation in data modeling, BI tools, and data pipeline architecture
Excellent communication and executive-level influencing skills
Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) (preferred)
Background in organizational transformation or large-scale data modernization (preferred)
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to Brown & Brown Dealer Services (preferred)
