About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Senior Consultant will focus on leading client projects.
- Support sales activities when an opportunity is identified by our leadership and sales organizations, or a lead comes directly from the market.
- Serve as the day-to-day project manager on client engagements.
- Responsibilities include project management, document preparation, data analysis, meeting facilitation, and client/service provider communication.
- Help build herronpalmer’s brand as the leading independent global HR advisor.
- Involved in all aspects of the business, including setting strategy for the business, building intellectual property, and developing service provider relationships.
- Consult on assessments, business cases, HR process optimization, and transition engagements for HR technology, outsourcing and shared services operating models.
- Recruit and develop herronpalmer resources through training and leading projects.
- Support new business opportunities and communicate with the Managing Director and Leadership Team on the status of existing projects and budgets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of business experience overall
- 10+ years of experience employed by an HR consulting firm, an industry-relevant provider firm in a client-servicing, solution architect or implementation role, or a large corporation in an HR operations leadership role
- Demonstrated administration/service delivery experience in at least three primary HR domain (e.g., HR, payroll, compensation, talent acquisition, etc.) in the areas of solution development, technology enablement, client implementation, or ongoing client service delivery
- Significant expertise in the large employer (National Accounts) market, including expertise with the large market HCM-benefits universe of providers
- Deep expertise with HR best practices and systems in at least one primary benefit domain (e.g., HR, payroll, compensation, talent acquisition)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite developing documents for internal and client-ready consumption
- Strong facilitation skills, including demonstrated ability to lead requirements-gathering, process or journey mapping, visioning and future state roadmap discussions with multiple stakeholder groups
- Ability to work independently in a virtual work environment and achieve significant results
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
