About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with Leadership to develop coordinated business plans, strategy, manage sales projects, provide feedback and foster growth through measurable goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, prospecting, and engaging potential clients to expand insurance portfolio.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, expert guidance, and ongoing support to ensure their needs are met and risks are managed effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop campaigns and support community involvement.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Promote the growth of BBNW through the sale of new accounts.
  • Build, expand, and solidify relationships within the Community.
  • Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by making telephone calls, writing letters, or through personal visits.
  • Monitor level of customer service and assist with claim issues as needed.
  • Set regularly scheduled meetings on a frequency that is appropriate for sales growth.
  • Maintain good relations with carrier personnel.
  • Keep current on marketplace changes.
  • Duties are done independently or in a team environment.
  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have, or obtain within 6 months, current Property and Casualty and/or Health & Life License in all required states.
  • Highly competitive with a strong desire to succeed
  • Should be highly self-confident and able to rebound from rejection
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with high energy and ability to work effectively at a fast pace
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong, consistent, and assertive communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in business or financial related field is preferred, other combination of work and/or education will be considered
  • Basic understanding of insurance and business terminology
  • Fluent with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel
  • AMS360 experience or skills to learn software program at an accelerated ability
  • Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
