About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manages a team of analysts responsible for the analysis of new business system development and existing system improvement
Allocates analysis team resources and monitors deliverables to ensure client needs are met successfully and in a timely fashion
Builds test plans and data
Coordinates with other teams to identify and implement new systems to support business function at effective cost
Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs
Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies
Detects, and reports system errors and discrepancies, analyzes and develops specifications for the correction of errors
Performs functionality and system testing to simulate end user experience
Performs exploratory testing and analysis for quality assurance before an application is released.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive knowledge of department processes
Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor
1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required
Designing, implementing and supporting business intelligence solutions
Excellent knowledge of business processes and methodologies
Strong analytical and data modeling background
Hands-on experience in applications design, configuration and implementation
Bachelor's degree in area of specialty
Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.
