Marketing Assistant – Employee Benefits
Brown & Brown InsuranceEmployee Benefits Marketing Assistant handling RFPs and client presentations for account management in a leading insurance brokerage. Responsible for data management and compliance with industry standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet requirements for licensing as directed by the branch/agency
- Draft and construct presentations, spreadsheets, binders as well as various reports and analyses as assigned
- On all assigned accounts: Use system to create RFP to begin renewal processes
- Work with AE/ AM to request early renewal release and 24 months of claims experience from carriers
- Prepare RFP for review with Account Manager and Producer
- Release RFP to selected Carriers
- Follow-up, receive and review quotes received from Carriers
- Review all quotes and marketing correspondence with AE / AM for determination of what plans and rates to utilize
- Finalize customer presentations with Account Manager and Producer
- Maintain effective information management between Account Manager, Producer and Carrier through all applicable means of communication
- Ensure all applicable data is kept accurate and files maintained
- Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures
- Remain current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages and technology
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 – 3 years' experience in a similar position
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
