About the role

  • Assist in managing client accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication
  • Address client inquiries, issues, and requests with a focus on providing excellent customer service
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, reports, and updates under the guidance of the Account Executive
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive problem-solving
  • Support Account Executive in developing account strategies and identifying opportunities for account growth
  • Coordinate and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Account Executive, benefit administrator, sales) to ensure projects are executed according to client specifications and deadlines
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to clients and Account Executive
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and invoices
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors and service providers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in Account Management or client service experience with large and/or self-funded accounts (required)
  • Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel
  • Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Travel may be required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in a business or financial related discipline or experience in lieu of degree (preferred)
  • Professional designation (preferred)
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 to 50 words per minute (preferred)
  • Agency Management System knowledge (preferred)
