About the role
- Development and successful acquisition of new business revenue from new and existing clients.
- Prospect sectors or market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services.
- Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by making telephone calls, writing letters or through personal visits.
- Maintain currency and further develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and participating in professional development activities.
- Properly record mileage and retain receipts for expenses incurred in servicing and meeting with clients.
- Expense reports are to be filed monthly.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by your Supervisor.
Requirements
- Valid Life & Health Insurance License
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management or related field
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy declaration page, summary plan descriptions, certification of coverage, instruction manuals, workflow reports, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
