About the role
- Write all new business policies.
- Maintain and service all renewal policies.
- Prepare renewal reviews and quotes as needed.
- Assist insureds with all service needs (i.e. questions, changes, cancellations, etc.)
- Identify competitive carriers for remarketing existing business to help with account retention.
- Account round existing clients, and cross sell other departments within the organization.
- Ensure all quotes are accurate and complete prior to being proposed.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to identify changing needs in account coverage.
- Actively seek out new business referrals: current clients, friends, family, teammates etc.
- Responsible for documentation control (scanned, paper, electronic, verbal, etc.).
- Knowledge of Quality Control Compliance standards for department.
- Maintain a commitment to personal and professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain with 6 months
- Insurance Designation (ie RHU, CISR, CIC, ARM) (Preferred)
- High School diploma or GED
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (Preferred)
- Knowledge of agency management systems (Preferred)
- 1-2 years' experience in similar position (Preferred)
