Key responsibilities & impact

manage activities of individual contributors within the team
steer the execution of structural analysis and design
guide the preparation and checking of structural calculations, drawings and specifications
investigate existing conditions and producing comprehensive reports
enforce compliance to building codes during project execution
coordinate cross discipline operations for seamless execution of projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

a minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field
proven record in management capacity and leadership roles
typically certified in BC’s Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) Framework, and progressing through the SMS competencies
a Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering, or a related field, with professional certification is required for this role
