About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development of complex process mechanical piping designs and equipment layouts using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate P&IDs and piping specifications, ensuring designs are accurate and meet project requirements.
- Involve cross-discipline model coordination and clash resolution for seamless designs.
- Develop detailed process mechanical and piping drawings, ensuring they meet required levels of detail at project design gates and milestones.
- Responsible for valve and equipment scheduling, ensuring accurate documentation and scheduling.
- May mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of process mech design or related experience.
- Experience in carrying out complex technical support or production/manual tasks.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing Revit/AutoCAD for design purposes.
- Extensive knowledge in process mechanical piping design and process mechanical equipment layout.
- Skilled in coordinating P&ID and piping specifications.
- Strong in cross discipline model coordination/clash resolution.
- Advanced understanding of level of detail at project design gates/milestones.
- Preferred Skills and Experience 5-10 years of experience in municipal and/or industrial projects (water and/or wastewater treatment plant experience preferred).
- Experience with Microstation, in addition to Revit and AutoCAD.
