About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development of complex process mechanical piping designs and equipment layouts using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate P&IDs and piping specifications, ensuring designs are accurate and meet project requirements.
  • Involve cross-discipline model coordination and clash resolution for seamless designs.
  • Develop detailed process mechanical and piping drawings, ensuring they meet required levels of detail at project design gates and milestones.
  • Responsible for valve and equipment scheduling, ensuring accurate documentation and scheduling.
  • May mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their development.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of process mech design or related experience.
  • Experience in carrying out complex technical support or production/manual tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing Revit/AutoCAD for design purposes.
  • Extensive knowledge in process mechanical piping design and process mechanical equipment layout.
  • Skilled in coordinating P&ID and piping specifications.
  • Strong in cross discipline model coordination/clash resolution.
  • Advanced understanding of level of detail at project design gates/milestones.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience 5-10 years of experience in municipal and/or industrial projects (water and/or wastewater treatment plant experience preferred).
  • Experience with Microstation, in addition to Revit and AutoCAD.
