About the role
- Configure and maintain the system (currently Infor Nexus) system to support various modules and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within Supply Chain.
- Analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose enhancements to streamline activities, improve efficiency, and improve inventory turn.
- Mentor business and technology team members on the Infor Nexus and business processes in the context of the processes.
- Support the Supply Chain team in conducting scenario analysis and what-if simulations using the system capabilities to assess the impact of various supply chain disruptions, demand fluctuations, and market changes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of wholesale and retail experience; footwear and/or apparel industry experience highly desired.
- 7+ years of comprehensive expertise in supply chain management principles encompassing global transportation, distribution, and production. Understand the intricacies of end-to-end supply chain processes and the interdependencies. Demonstrate proficiency in supply chain concepts, including supply chain planning, procurement, production, and distribution logistics. Able to seamlessly integrate Supply Chain functions to ensure alignment and synchronization.
- Advanced knowledge of various Supply Chain execution functions such as Supply Management (Purchase Order execution, Supplier and Carrier Collaboration, Work in Progress, Pack and Ship, Pack List, ASN, Global Freight (Transport Plans, Book & Tender, Track Shipment, Freight Audit and Payment, Control Center) and Finance and Trade (Freight Audit & Pay, Receipt)
- Experience in implementing an inbound Transportation Management System (Infor Nexus experience highly desired)
- High level of data literacy; ability to understand and explain to stakeholders the role of specific data subjects and processes necessary to support a Global Transportation management system and Supply Chain Digitalization implementations.
- Excellent data and process requirement definition skills, including the ability to define preconditions, post-conditions, tolerances, exception handling, and notification processes necessary to support and improve business operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of mathematical, statistical, and analytical concepts; optimally, an understanding of the data structures necessary to support those functions.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to adopt new technology with agility and the ability to mentor others on the use of new technology solutions.
- Experience with leveraging data visualization and reporting tools to drive insights and decision-making.
