About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Wholesale and Accounts Receivable accounts
- Record and manage manual journal entries, including reserves, accruals (returns, merchant fees, chargebacks), and true-ups
- Maintain and reconcile NetSuite and United-related activity to SAP, including preparation of adjusting entries
- Reclassify sales returns and ensure accurate accounting treatment
- Reconcile BI reports (Dropship, NetSuite, United) to the general ledger
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between business units
- Analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for reasonableness
- Prepare Gross-to-Net sales and margin analysis by customer for Wholesale stakeholders
- Identify and explain key sales and margin variances vs. forecast and budget
- Support monthly reporting deliverables and provide actionable commentary
- Load and maintain customer-level sales and margin forecasts in SAS Financial Management
- Partner with Sales and Planning teams on forecast updates and variance tracking
- Support annual budget process, including analysis of trends and key drivers
- Manage dropship reserve accounting and reconcile dropship sales activity
- Analyze inventory reserves and provide insights on potential risks and exposure
- Support royalty reporting and coordination with Treasury
- Ensure proper integration and data flow between operational systems (e.g., ITF, SAP)
- Support post-go-live activities and ongoing process improvements
- Maintain data integrity of financial reporting tools
- Respond to frequent ad hoc requests from Sales, Treasury, and Finance leadership
- Provide detailed analysis such as reserve calculations, margin insights, and operational support.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite preferred) and planning tools (SAS FM a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Effective communication and business partnering skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
