About the role
- Develop prospective accounts and manage all business opportunities within a defined sales territory
- Source new brokers on an ongoing basis and go through the approval process
- Maintain sales contact and pipeline
- Maintain familiarity with regulatory and industry standards and requirements
- Train their mortgage brokers on the loan packaging and submission requirements so that their loans are efficiently processed after submission
- Be a subject matter expert on the underwriting requirements of each loan product
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the residential lending industry
- 2+ years of experience in a sales role in a Wholesale lending channel
- Knowledge of Agency, Non-Agency, Jumbo and Investor loan products
- Demonstrated history of achieving monthly sales targets
