About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning and execution of branch openings, office moves, and decommissions across the BrokerLink environment
- Complete onsite technology and network readiness activities
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors
- Provide hands-on support during cutovers/go-live to ensure a smooth transition for end-users
- Complete onsite technology discovery to confirm branch and user requirements
- Support branch openings, office moves, and decommissions by completing required network and connectivity tasks
- Inventory and document technology assets, services, and applications at each location
- Coordinate equipment redeployment and arrange secure recycling/destruction where required
- Create and maintain documentation (SOPs, checklists, runbooks, and site notes)
- Coordinate activities with employees, internal support teams, vendors, and partners
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of common IT hardware (PCs, servers, printers, mobile devices, IoT)
- Understanding of OS provisioning, configuration management, and patching/software updates
- Solid experience in network operations and support
- Familiarity with Incident Management processes/systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows (workstations and servers) and Microsoft 365/Office
- Ability to travel across Canada and work after hours as move schedules require
- University degree/college diploma in a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Strong deskside support experience in an enterprise environment
- Proven experience supporting Microsoft workstation and server operating systems
- Experience managing/supporting network environments
- Vendor coordination/management experience (nice to have)
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-starter and team player with strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
